Question

why does dipropyl ether have higher boiling point than di ethyl ether??

Read 1 Solution.

diethyl ether is very volatile or u can say dipropyl ether has higher boiling pt. than diethyl ether ,becoz dipropyl ether has higher molecular mass than diethyl ether thus van der waal forces are also greater in dipropyl ether which leads to high boiling pt in comparision to diethyl ether of low molecular mass
