Question
CALCULATE THE MAGNETIC FIELD AT THE CENTRE OF SQUARE WIRE OF SIDE (2)1/2cm AND CARRYING A CURRENT OF 10A.?
Joshi sir comment
method given by BONEY is correct but formula is not correct
it should be B = 4×{ (μ0I) / 4πR } × [sinθ1+ Sinθ2]
Read 1 Solution.
B = 4×{ (μ0I) / 2πR } × [sinθ1+ Sinθ2] ...........................Where I= Current , R= parralel distance to the point from the wire
= 4×(4π × 10-7×10) / 2π*0.7071) × [sin45 + Sin45]
=159.52 × 10-7 T
= 1.595 × 10-5 T
