A particle of mass m strikes elastically on a wall with velocity v, at an angle 60° from the wall the magnitude of change in momentum of ball along the wall is
(1) zero (2) mv

since momentum of the ball before strike and after strike are same along the wall so change will be 0
Read 2 Solution.
ON RESOLVING sin component will be cancelled out as they are equal in magnitude but diffnt in direction & u vyl be left with cos component i. e mvcosθ+ mvcosθ and θ=600 ( ans mv_)

my previous soln needs correction i.e change in p so mv due to cos compt will be 0 as mvcosθ - mvcosθ & sin compt vyl be mvsin θ-(- mvsinθ) = 2mvsinθ = √3 mv( θ=60)
