When i am read dis chapter, a concept for classified monodentate ligand, biadentate ligand nd all of us r facing bt sir a can't learn how we classified. Plz give me a better suggestion?

The classification is based on the number of pairs of electrons a ligand can donate.

since phen is a strong-field, chelating nitrogen heterocycle so it will force Fe (ii) into a low-spin t2g6 eg0 electronic configuration with no unpaired electrons so it is diamagnetic
